Chris and I started this while he was in town on his last break.  We got the box from Hobby Lobby (my new favorite store!).  Our plan was to paint it navy and decorate it with silver snowflake details.  I still have to find those, and our spray paint job is sad.  It needs some serious TLC before it's wedding ready!  But here's a pic of Chris being handy and cutting a hole in the box.

The pictures are small and terrible because I took them on my phone :(  But I think you get the idea!

These were such a hassle!  Originally we were going with submerged silk hydrangea in the hurricane glass with three floating candles on top.  But after Michael's sold out of the seasonal flower I liked the best, I couldn't find an affordable substitute.  I think this is what we're definitely going with now.  I was pleasantly surprised to see the candlelight bounce off the acrylic gems like I'd hoped it would!

My first DIY project is complete!  I made signs for the bathroom baskets with two frames from the Target back to college collection, $5.99 each, and some wedding themed scrap booking stickers, which I think were $5 or $6 each, from Michael's.  I used the standard bathroom basket poem that's all over the Internet.

For the men's room; the paper looks wavy in the picture but it's not.  The shadows are playing tricks or something?

For the ladies room; had a leftover white limo sticker that matches the one on the guy's sign that I didn't use.
